Great Beauty Tips for Face that you can incorporate into your Daily Skincare Routine

Author: Kalpana Rajagopalan
There are many great beauty tips for face that you can find if you simply do a quick online search. So many ingredients found in natural skincare products are probably to be found in your home at any given moment and these can be used to give your skin a natural healthy glow. One of the great ways to really pamper your skin is to indulge in a facial mask. You do not need to visit a spa or spend a lot of money on expensive facial masks. All you need is an orange and some curd, or a tomato and even potatoes have the uses when it comes to oily skin types!

If you suffer with oily skin and want a natural at home remedy try grating some potato and then applying it to your skin. Leave it on for about half an hour and then rinse it off with clean water. Potatoes are known to absorb excess oil in the skin and thereby help to prevent wrinkles as well! Tomatoes can be used as a very simple yet highly effective facial scrub. All you need to do is cut the tomato in half and rub it onto your face. You only need to leave it on for five minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Because tomatoes are a good astringent and contain a lot of vitamin C they are able to cool the skin. For dull complexions this is a very effective treatment to brighten the skin and you will find that you have a beautiful natural glow in an instant! For normal skin types oranges are really great. Simply extract the juice from half an orange and combine it with 2 teaspoons of curd. Massage the mixture gently into the face and then rinse with cold water. It is as simple as that!

Great beauty tips for face do not only involve what you can apply to the skin to make it look and feel beautiful. There are also other things that you can do to ensure that your skin is healthy. For example, although it might be tempting to pop a pimple that appears the golden rule is that you do not do so! When you pop pimples the infected material within it can actually end up being pushed even further into the skin and this results in more inflammation and redness. Use a natural skincare product to help keep pimples at bay.

Another useful tip is to try not to touch your face or lean your face against anything. When you do so you run the risk of spreading bacteria and these can result in blocked pores, inflammation and/or irritation. Also, for those who wear glasses it is good to clean them regularly because in that way you can prevent oil from clogging the pores around your eyes and nose. Whenever your face is contact with something, such as glasses or a phone, sebum and skin residue collects on the item. Frequent use can lead to the pores becoming clogged.

People who suffer with acne on their body need to avoid wearing any tight clothing because that prevents the skin from being able to breathe properly and irritation occurs. So scarves, headbands, caps, etc. would be best avoided.

Another great tip that is practical and also very important is to avoid ever going to bed without removing your makeup. Also, try to purchase makeup that is noncomedogenic or nonacnegenic and never keep makeup until it changes appearance or smells different. A good rule of thumb is to dispose of makeup that is older than three months.

And finally, when it comes to great beauty tips for face and body, we all know about the dangers posed by the sun. Make sure that you wear a sunscreen that provides proper protection. Protective clothing is important if you want to avoid sun spots and other sun damage to the face and body.
